Dr Israr Ahmad, Jeane Dixon, and Imam Mahdi

Calamity of Dr Israr Ahmad
"QUOTE"

When is the Messiah Coming by Shabbir Ahmed, M.D.

www.ourbeacon.com/wp-content/uploads/admin2/2007/08/messiah.pdf
The weekly "Urdu Times," New York, dated Oct 6th, 1999 has published a detailed interview of Dr. Israr Ahmed. The respected doctor is a sincere and renowned scholar of Islam. One great thing is that he does not prefix his name with "Maulana". He knows that according to the Qur'an, "Maulana" or the"Master" of us all is no one but Allah (9/51).
Maulana Syed Abul A'Ala Maudoodi, The Founder & Chief of Jamat-e-Islami
More than 3 decades ago, the daily "Jang" Karachi prominently published the news that Dr. Israr Ahmed had quit Jamat-e-Islami. The chief of Jamat-e-Islami was called Maulana Syed Abul A'Ala Maudoodi. Dr. Israr and others who quit with him maintained that "Al-A'ALA" is the name of God, meaning the most Glorious the most High. Abu means father. Therefore Abul A'Ala would mean "THE FATHER OF GOD". Hence, Maulana Syed Abul A'Ala Maudoodi translates "our master, owner, Father of God Maudoodi" (Syed means owner).

Instead of acknowledging the truth, Mr. Maudoodi became furious and fired Dr. Israr from the Jamaat. In turn, Maudoodi came under fire that he had been a dire opponent of the Pakistan Movement. Also that Allama Iqbal was a great benefactor of Maudoodi since he brought the jobless Maudoodi from Deccan to Pathan Kot and assigned him to do Qur'anic research. But, the daily "Jang" exclaimed that, for some ulterior reason Maudoodi carefully avoided citing the verses of Iqbal in his writings.

No doubt Allama Iqbal enjoys such a high station in Urdu and Persian literature that any scholar writing in these two languages without referring to the Allama will reflect his own ignorance and incompetence.

In an interview with Urdu Times, answering a question, Dr. Israr said, "Tableeghi Jamaat" accomplished nothing in 70 years, Jamaate-Islami brought no change in 60 years. Why wonder that I and my Tanzeem-e-Islami have created no dent in 40 years? (The weight of Dr. Israr's logic should be scaled by our reader).

Dr. Israr Ahmed has his admirers world-wide. Shabbir Ahmed is one of them. But the answer to the Urdu Times' journalist is something else. It is hidden from the truth-seeking eyes of the doctor sahib. There is a word in Arabic, "Taghreez". When a vehicle gets stuck so that it's wheels keep spinning in the sand but the vehicle stays put, this is called "Taghreez". The truth of the matter is that whether it is Tableeghi Jamaat or Jamaat-e-Islami or any other Islamic movement in the world, their engines are screaming while the vehicles remain stuck in the sand of tradition. "Movements" which do not move! Allama Iqbal very aptly identifies the situation for us:

Allama Iqbal
The Truth is lost in non-sense

This nation is lost in legend

Look at the magic of these legends and traditions. A mullah of the caliber of Dr. Israr Ahmed states in his interview that "Imam Mehdi" has been born in Arabia in 1962.

The authority he has referred to about his startling discovery is the late Jeane Dixon of the U.S. the self-proclaimed diviner who gained fame for "foreseeing" the assassination of J.F.K. (but could not predict her own demise!) Many of my respected readers have been calling me regarding this interview partly because they don't have Dr. Israr Ahmed's phone number. Several of them have asked me to write on the subject of the Advent of the Messiah (&Mehdi) and comment on Dr. Israr's mysterious statements. (Many of the readers surely know that the correct spelling of doctor saheb's name is Asrar which in itself means "mysteries").

"UNQUOTE"

On hand these Rampant Mullah try their best to thrust Shariah down the throats of Muslims and demand "JIZYA" from NON-MUSLIMS but these very Mullahs forget Islam while telling us about the Birth of Mahdi that too through the Predictions of Jeane Dixon, American Astrologer, and as per my poor and humble knowledge of Islami Shariah as far as Astrology is concerned:

that there is no such thing like Zodiac Sign, Stars [with knowledge of unseen and having effects on those who are borne under any particualr Zodiac Sign], Astrology, Palmistry in Islam. Dr Israr Ahmad should ask for repentence because consulting and even quoting such 'FILTH' makes your Salat [Prayers] invalid for 40 days.

“Say: ‘None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghayb (Unseen) except Allaah…’” [al-Naml 27:65]

The Messenger of Allaah SAWs (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.” [Muslim]

And it was narrated by the authors of al-Sunan and by al-Haakim, who classed it as saheeh, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad.”

“He does not belong to us who observes bird omens or has that done for him, or who seeks divination or who has that done for him, or who practices witchcraft or has that done for him. Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).” [Narrated by al-Bazzaar with Authentic Chain of Narration]

1 – The belief that these stars have a real influence in the sense that they create events and evil. This is major shirk (shirk akbar), because whoever claims that there is another creator alongside Allaah is a mushrik in the sense of major shirk, for he is regarding a created thing that is subjugated as a creator which subjugates.

2 – Making this a reason to claim to have knowledge of the unseen, so from the movements and changes in the stars he deduces that such and such will happen because such and such has happened to such and such a star. For example, he may say that one person’s life will be miserable because he was born under this star, and that another person’s life will be happy because he was born under that star. This person is taking knowledge of the stars as a means to claim that he has knowledge of the unseen, and claiming to have knowledge of the unseen is kufr (disbelief) which puts one beyond the pale of Islam, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ

“Say: None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghayb (Unseen) except Allaah”[al-Naml 29:65]

The grammatical structure used in the original Arabic – starting with the negation laa (translated here as “none”) followed by the word illa (“except”) – is one of the most emphatic ways of expressing exclusivity. So if a person claims to know the unseen, he is effectively disbelieving what the Qur’aan says.

3 – If he believes that the stars are the cause of good or bad things happening, this is minor shirk (shirk asghar), i.e., when something happens he attributes it to the stars (and only attributes it to the stars after it has happened). The basic principle is that whoever believes that one thing is the cause of another when Allaah has not made it so, is overstepping the mark and not acknowledging Allaah as He should be acknowledged, because the One Who makes things happen is Allaah alone. For example, if a person seeks healing from a piece of string (tied around his wrist), and says, “I believe that healing is in the hand of Allaah and this string is simply the means,” we would say to him, “You have saved yourself from major shirk but you have fallen into lesser shirk, because Allaah has not made string a clear means of healing. By doing this you have transgressed against His position of Controller and Sustainer, by making something a means to something else when Allaah has not made it so.” The same applies to one who regards the stars as the cause of rainfall when this is not the case. The evidence for that is the hadeeth narrated by al-Bukhaari (801) and Muslim (104) from Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani who said:

“The Messenger of Allaah SAWs (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) led us in praying Fajr at al-Hudaybiyah, following rainfall during the night. When he had finished praying, he turned to the people and said, ‘Do you know what your Lord has said?’ They said, ‘Allaah and His Messenger know best.’ He said, ‘This morning one of My slaves became a believer in Me and one became a disbeliever. As for the one who said, “We have been given rain by virtue of Allaah and His mercy,” he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars. But as for the one who said, “We have been given rain by such and such a star,” he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars.’” So the one who attributes rain to the stars is saying that the stars caused the rain.

Astrology, horoscopes, superstition and fortune-telling are all actions of jaahiliyyah (ignorance) which Islam came to show as false and to explain that they are shirk, because they involve depending on something other than Allaah and believing that benefit and harm come from something other than Him, and believing the words of fortune-tellers and soothsayers who falsely claim to have knowledge of the unseen in order to cheat people of their money and change their beliefs.

The evidence (daleel) for that is the hadeeth narrated by Abu Dawood in his Sunan with a saheeh isnaad from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Whoever learns anything of astrology has learned a branch of witchcraft (al-sihr)…”

And al-Bazzaar narrated with a jayyid isnaad from ‘Imraan ibn Husayn that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“He is not one of us who practises augury or has it done for him, who tells fortunes or has his fortune told, or who practises witchcraft or has that done for him.”

Whoever claims to know some matter of the unseen either is a fortune-teller or is acting like a fortune-teller in some sense, because Allaah is the only One Who has knowledge of the unseen. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning);

Imam Ghazali (1058-1111) - 2

CHAPTER TWO: AL-GHAZALI: HIS TIMES AND LEGACY By MASARRAT HUSAIN ZUBERI

As studying, learning and teaching the Quran was incumbent on every Muslim, mosques were the earliest centres of formal education. Free lectures were given on the Holy Quran and Sunnah; later a Jurisprudence, Logic, Ethics, Philosophy were also included gradually. However, standard educational institutions were later set up and handsomely endowed not only providing free education but also free board and lodging. Throughout the Muslim world education was free at all levels and illiteracy was almost unknown....

أبو حامد محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن أحمد الغزالي الشافعي الطوسي

Dear Sultan Sahab,

How Scholars judge Imam Ghazali's work:

Ibn Al-Jawzi (508 AH-597 AH) in Talbis Iblis - Delusions of the Devil 2 volumes (A small part of the book has been translated and abridged into English by DS Margoliouth/Dr. Bilal Philips) :

“Know that in the book of Ihya’ there are defects that only scholars recognize. The least if which are false and fabricated Ahadeeth. He made some narrations of Sahabah as narrations by the Prophet. He (al-Ghazali) copied these Hadeeths as he read them, not that he fabricated them. It is not permissible to worship Allah based on a fabricated hadeeth.”

He also said:

“Then came abu Hamed al-Ghazali, he authored the book al-Ihyaa’ following the methodology of (Sufis). He filled it with false hadeeths without him knowing their falsehood. He spoke about Mukashafah (unveiling the unseen) and went outside the (proper) rules of fiqh. He said that the planet, the sun and the moon which Ibrahim ASWS saw were lights that prevent us from seeing Allah, not that they are the ones known to us. This is the same as the talk of the Batinis.”

Tartooshi Al Maliki said:

In his book "Ihya' Uloomuddeen" he discussed the statuses of Sufis without having enough knowledge or experience on this issue. So he fell on his head. Neither did he find his place among the scholars, nor did he settle among the ascetic. He stuffed his book with lies on the Prophet Mohammad [PBUH]. I do not know of a book on the face of Earth that contains more lies on the Prophet [PBUH].

He mixed his book with the ways of the philosophers, and the book "Rasail Ikhwan al-Safa". Those believe that prophethood is gained (through practice not just granted by Allah SWT), and that a prophet is nothing more than a righteous man with good manners." Siyar A'lamunnubalaa' 19/334.

Maziri Al Maliki said:

He (al-Ghazali) said in the first chapter that he possessed knowledge which should not be contained in a book.

This knowledge was it true or false?

If it was false, then he was correct (it should not be contained in a book).

If it was true, and definitely this was his objective, then why not contain it in a book?

Is it because of its ambiguity and preciseness.

Well, if he was able to understand it, then wouldn't others."

Siyar A'lamunnubalaa' 19/340.

Al-Qadhi ‘Iyadh said:

“Shaikh abu Hamed (al-Ghazali) had terrible news (regarding him), and was the author of horrible books. He went to extremes in Sufusm, he dedicated himself to support them (Sufis), he became a caller to (Sufism), and he authored famous books on this matter.

Some sections of these books were taken against him, and the nation assumed that which was bad in him. Allah knows best his insides.

The order of the Sultan and Fatwa of the scholars here in the west were to burn his books and to keep them away. These orders were fulfilled.”

Siyar A’lam Annubala’ 19/327.

Muhammad bin Ali Al Qurtubi said:

One of those who used to give sermons, began with following the way of Fiqh. Later he left Fiqh and followed the Ghazali sharee’ah, and the Sufi religion. (This person) wrote a book promoting radical support of the book of abu Hamed (al-Ghazali), the Imam of their Bid’ah.

Where was he from the ugliness of his lewdness, and the deviations of his fairytales?

He claimed that this was of the knowledge of behavior, which leads to the knowledge of the unseen, which leads to the secrets of Lordship, which no one could unveil and gain except he who rides the camels of his misguidances. The banners of this misguidances he raised, and the rules of which he established.”

Ayaadh Al Yasuby: ((and Sheikh Abu Hamid the one of hideous news, and horrible compilations excessed in the way of Sufism, and devoted himself to support their ideologies, and became a propagandist in that, and wrote his famous compilations about that. He's been criticized in some of it, and his mother's intentions changed about him, and Allah knows his secret, and the order of the Sultan her in Morocco was carried out and the opinion of jurists which was to burn it and stay away of it, and that was observed)) (Siyar A3laam en-Nubalaa2 19/327).

Ibn Al Jawzi said:

((Know, that in the book Al-Ihyaa Uloom ud Deen by Ghazali there are errors that only scholars can find, and the least of it is the non-authentic fabricated Hadeeths, and he only mentioned it as he collected it not that he made it up, and it's wrong to worship Allah with a fabricated Hadeeth and to be fooled with a made-up text, and how would I accept it for you to pray five times a day, and your Salaah (prayer) has nothing that the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, and how would I like that you hear what he collected and recommended of the countless sayings of Sufis about “Fanaa” (vanishing) and “Baqaa” (immortality), and ordering of extreme hunger, and going out in tourism for no reason, and entering the desert with no supplies, and other things that I revealed in my book “Talbees Iblees”)) (Minhaj Al Qasedeen: 16-17).

And he also said: ((and Abu Hamid came and wrote for them – for Sufis – the book of Ihyaa on their method, and filled it up with fabricated Hadeeths and he didn't know that it's fabricated, and he talked about the science of revelations, and stepped aside of the law of Fiqh (Jurisprudence), and he got things like the sayings of Batiniyyah [A deviant Extremist Sect in Islam] )) (Talbees Iblees).

And he said: ((Subhan Allah! The One who took Aba Hamid out of the circle of Fiqh (Jurisprudence) by writing his book Al-Ihyaa, and would Allah he hadn't said such Haraam stuff in it, and the strange thing is that he tells it and likes it and calls his friends “Arbaab Awaal” (ones who have Statuses!!)))

And he also said: (( .. How pity is what Abu 7amid did by selling Fiqh for Tasawwuf (Sufism)!! ..))

Shamsuddin Az-Zahaby أبو عبد الله شمس الدين الذهبي(died 748H) said:

((About Ihyaa, it contains a lot of false Hadeeths, and it contains a lot of good if it didn't have what it has of morals, asceticism of wise men, and Sufi deviants, we ask Allah for useful knowledge, you know what is useful knowledge? It's what came in the Holy Qur'an, and was explained by the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH] by saying or doing. So, your duty – my brother – is to consider the Qur'an with care and get addicted to looking in the two authentic books of Hadeeth (Bukhari and Muslim), Sunan An-Nasaaee, Riyadh un-Nawawy and his – An-Nawawy's – Zikr and you'll succeed. And I warn you, stay away of the opinions of the philosopher worshipers, sports' people jobs, hunger of monks, and the nonsense of people of solitude, as all good is in following (Al-anifiyyah As-Samaah) , O Allah! Please help me!, O Allah! Guide us to your straight way)) (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa2: 19/339-340).

He also said: ((and the man wrote in dispraise of philosophers the book of “At-Tahaafut”, and he revealed their faults, and he agreed with them in some things he thought it was correct or not against the faith, and he had no knowledge of Hadeeths and the Sunnah which rule the mind, and it he liked addicting looking in the book of “Rasa2el Ikhwan es-Safa”, and it's a chronic disease, a destroying itch, and a deadly poison, and except for that he is one of the most intelligent people, and one of the most sincere people, he would have been damaged, so watch out for these books, and run away with your religion from the suspicions of the forebears or you'll be in confusion ...)) (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa: 19/328).

Qazi Abu Bakr Ibn Al Arabi {Author of Al Awasim Min Al Qawasim] [Imam Ghazali's Student]: ((our sheikh Abu Hamid: he swallowed the philosophers, and when he wanted to vomit them, he couldn't))

Ali Bin Yousuf Bin Tashfeen burnt the book of “Al-Ihyaa”, Az-Zahaby said: and he was courageous, struggler, just, religious, pious, righteous, observant of scholars, and consulting them)). (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa: 20/124).

((and burnt it – the book of “Al-Ihyaa” - Ali Bin Yousuf Bin Tashfeen, and that was based on the consensus of Fuqahaa2 “jurists” who were with him)). (Al-Miyaar Al-Mureb: 12/185).

Al Mazurry (died 536H) said:
((and they like – some of Malikis –- of someone – Al-Ghazzaaly may Allah forgive him – some Fatwas (religious opinions) built on something that is false, and it contains a lot of hadeeths of the Prophet (saw) which he added the non-authentic to the authentic of it, and also not everything of what he mentioned about the Salaf (companions of the Prophet “saw” and their followers, etc ..) can be proved, and he mentioned of the drifts of Awliyaa (people who do supernatural things) what is appreciated, but he mixed the profitable with the harmful; like some general things that he mentions about some of them which can't be generalized like that for its atrocity, and if its meaning was understood as it appears: it will be like symbols for atheists to use against Islam ..).

Shamsuddin Az-Zahaby أبو عبد الله شمس الدين الذهبي(died 748H) said:

and the character of this biography – Al-Mazurry – has a compilation in answering “Al-Ihyaa”, and showing what's false in it, he was just in it, may Allah have mercy on him. (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa).

Al Qurtubi said:
((some of them who preach, of those who claimed Fiqh (jurisprudence) then he disowned it for his passion for the charter of Ghazzaaly, and the Sufi sect, wrote a book containing fanaticism for the book of “Abu Hamid” the Imam of their heresy. Didn't he see the atrocity of his ugly faults, and his superstitions which are against the religion?? and he claimed that this is of “elm Al-Mukamalah” that gets you to “elm Al-Mukashafah” that reveals for them the secret of divinity that nobody can reveal except the one who .................................... )). (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa: 19/332).

And also, of those who criticized Ghazzaaly, Ibn Aqeel Al Hanbali, who said some words about him that I wouldn't mention here. (Ghayat ul-Amany: 2/369).

Hafiz Ibn Kathir (died 774H) said:
((and he wrote in this period his book “Ihyaa-Uloom Al Deen” and it's a weird book that contains various types of religious information, mixed with some Sufi stuff and heart works, but it has lots of non-authentic Hadeeths, and fabricated ones, like there is in other books that are used as a proof of Halaal [Lawful] and Haraam [Unlawful], so, the book that's been put for heart works, arousal of interest, and intimidation is easier than others, and Ibn ul-Jawzy then Ibn Salaah criticized him a lot, even Al-Mazurry wanted to burn his book “Ihyaa Uloom Al Deen”, also some others of Magharibah (people of Maghrib), and they said: this is the book of Ihyaa (resurrecting) Uloom (the sciences) Deen (of his religion), about our religion: its resurrection is the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), like it was mentioned in his biography in “At-Tabaqaat”, Ibn Sakrah, falsified the faults in “Ihyaa Uloom Al Deen” and explained the falsehood of it in a useful book)). (Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihaayah: 12/174).

Shamsuddin Az-Zahaby أبو عبد الله شمس الدين الذهبي(died 748H) said:

((Abi Al Hassan Bin Sakrah answered Ghazzaaly in a volume and called it: “Ihyaa Mayyet el-Ihyaa Fi Radd ala Kitaab Al Ihyaa” (The resurrection of the dead) “Al-Ihyaa” in answering the book of “Al-Ihyaa2”))). (Siyar Aalaam Al Nubalaa: 19/327).

Rashid Bin Abi Rashid Al Waleedi Al-Maliki (died 675H) Narrated, in his book
“Al-Halaal wal Haraam”, that he heard Abdullaah ibn Musa Al-Fashtaly Al-Maliki saying: ((if I found the compilations of Al-Qushairy [Qasim Qusairi of Sufi Risala Al Qusairi] I would have collected it and threw it in the sea, he said: and also the books of Ghazzaaly ... he said: and I heard him saying: I ask Allah to put me at the Day of Judgment with Aby Muhammad ibn Aby Zaid – Al-Qairawaany – not with Ghazzaaly)). (Nail Al-Ibtihaaj bi-Tatreez el-Daibaaj: 117).

Abu Bakr Muhammad Bin Al Waleed Al Turtooshy (died 520H) in his message to Ibn el-Muzaffar, talking about Ghazzaaly – may Allah have mercy on him -:
(( ... then he became a Sufi, so he left sciences and its people, and entered into sciences of thought, people of hearts, and the whispers of Satan (Shaytaan), then he mixed it with opinions of philosophers and symbols of Al-7allaaj, and started criticizing jurists, and was about to get out of the religion, so when he made “Al-Ihyaa” he started talking about statuses, Sufi symbols, and he wasn't knowledgeable in that!! so he fell on his face, so he was neither among the Muslim scholars, nor the ascetic, then he filled his book up with lies on the Prophet Mohammad [PBUH] saw, that I don't know any book on earth – according to my knowledge – that has more lies on the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), he filled it up with they opinions of philosophers, and meanings of the messages of “Ikhwan es-Safa”, and those who try to support Islam with opinions of philosophers are like one who washed water with urine, then he talks in that book like thunder, he makes one desirous until one wants more, he says: (this is of “elm el-Mukamalah”, and what's next is of “elm el-Mukashafah”, and it's forbidden to write it in books”) or he says: (this is of the secret of destiny that we were forbidden to share) and that's the doing of Al-Batiniyyah, and people of corruption, and it confuses the beliefs, and weakening of what the majority of people believe, so if this man really believes in what he wrote in his book then it's not strange to say he's Kaafir (non-muslim), and if he doesn't believe in it, then how near is saying that he's Daal (astray))) (Al-Mi3yaar ul-Mu3reb: 12/186), also look: (Tareekh ul-Islam of Az-Zahaby: 122), and (Tabaqaat ush-Shafiiyyah Al-Kubraa: 6/243). (Ar-Rasaa2el: 3/137).

Examples of the faults in the book of “Al-Ihyaa”:

Al-Ghazzaaly – may Allah have mercy on him – said: ((Abu Turaab en-Nakhshuby oneday said to one of his followers: “If you have seen Aba Yazeed” – Al-Bustaamy – he said: I'm busy with someone else, then when Abu Turaab said this phrase a lot : “If you have seen Aba Yazeed!!” the follower became angry and said: woe to you! What do I do with Aby Yazeed? I saw Allah and that sufficed me!! Abu Turab said: so I got angry and I couldn't take it, so I said: woe to you!! you take Allah for Aby Yazeed, if only you saw Aba Yazeed one time that would have been better for you than seeing Allah seventy times! He said: so that follower was shocked and he denied this saying, so he said: and how is that? He said: woe to you!! don't you see Allah at your place, so He appears to you according to your rank, and you see Aba Yazeed with Allah where He appeared to him according to his rank)) (Al-Ihyaa: 4/305).

And he – may Allah have mercy on him – said: ((Know, that singing is more exciting for passion than Qur'an for seven reasons: First reason: is that all Ayat (verses) of Qur'an don't suit the state of the listener and don't fit his understanding ..... )). (Al-Ihyaa: 2/298).

And he said – may Allah have mercy on him - : ((So, hearts, even if it burns with love for Allah, the verse – of poetry – which is unknown for it, excites it more than the recitation of Qur'an, and that's for the rhythm of poetry and the likeness between it and the human nature)). (Al-Ihyaa2: 2/301).

And he said – may Allah have mercy on him - : ((“Sahl At-Tustury” said: Allah has some servants this town, that if they curse the unjust people, there wouldn't be an unjust person on earth except that he dies in one night .. until he said: and if they asked Him – Allah – to stop the Judgment Day, He would stop it!).

And he commented on that and said: ((and all this is possible, so those who don't have these stuff, they should at least believe it's possible, for the capability is wide, and the grace is general, and the marvels of Allah and The Kingdom are a lot, and the capabilities of Allah has no end, and His Grace on His servants that He chosen has no limit!))(Al-Ihyaa: 4/305).

Ghazzaaly – may Allah forgive him – put in Al-Ihyaa, 3rd volume, the book of “Enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong” : a story of exchanging messages betweenthe Calif Harun er-Rasheed, and Sufyan eth-Thawry, and what it contains of wisdom, stories and lies, and it wasn't known for him though he was near to their time, that Ath-Thawry died ten years before Harun er-Rasheed became a Calif, which shows that he's away of verification, and his accepting of anything that he hears. And he said – may Allah have mercy on him - : ((Sahl ibn Abdellaah et-Tustury said when asked about the secret of the soul? So he said: the soul is the secret of Allah, that secret never shown on any of His servants except for Fer3awn (The Pharaoh)!! so he said: I am your supreme God!)). (Al-Ihyaa: 4/61).

And he said – may Allah forgive him - : ((Al-Junaid – may Allah have mercy on him – said: I like for the beginner follower “that he doesn't make his heart busy with three things, earning his living, asking for Hadeeth (learning it), and getting married. And he said (Al-Junaid): I like for the Sufi that he doesn't read or write, as this is better for him)) (Al-Ihyaa: 2/206).

And he said – may Allah forgive him - : (( ... some of them said: the passion for “Al-khader” - peace be upon him – worried me, so I asked Allah to make me see him so that I can learn something from him that was the most important thing for me, he said: so I saw him and I said to him: Aba Al Abbaas! Teach me something, if I say it I would become hidden from the hearts of people, and so I would be worthless in their hearts, and nobody would know that I'm good or religious?, he said: say “O Allah! Put on me a thick veil, and put pavilions on me, and make me in your hidden unseen, and hide me from the hearts of your servants” he said: then he disappeared so I didn't see him, and I didn't have passion for him after that, so I kept saying these words everyday, it was told that he became worthless, everybody despised him, and used him, even non-Muslims made fun of him, and used him in roads to carry things for them for his low value in their eyes, and little boys used to play with him, so he rested and became dull because of all that.)) (Al-Ihyaa: 4/306).

And Ghazzaaly commented – may Allah forgive him – and said: ((and like that is the state of the friends of Allah (Awliyaa), so in these types – of people – you should look for them.)).

And he said – may Allah forgive him - : ((and of them, one, whom the Ka3bah comes to him, and circumambulate him while visiting him)) (Al-Ihyaa: 1/269).

And he – may Allah forgive him – said: ((Abu Yazeed and others used to say: not the scholar is the one who memorizes of a book, and when he forgets what he memorized he becomes ignorant, the scholar is the one who takes his knowledge from his God at anytime he wills, without memorizing or taking lessons!)) (Al-Ihyaa: 3/24).

And he, may Allah forgive him, said - and we ask Allah to forgive us for sharing this here, because of what it contains of accusing Allah of being unjust, Exalted is He, The Most Beautiful Names belong to Him - : ((He took the Angels as close companions without anything that makes them deserve this, and move Iblees away without any previous crime!)) (Al-Ihyaa: 4/168).

Aristotle’s influence on Muslim Philosophy and Al-Ghazali's flight to Sufism By MASARRAT HUSAIN ZUBERI

Aristotle and Imam Ghazali are two immortals of history who put their seal on European and Muslim philosophical scholarship through succeeding generations. The generations disappeared in the fold of time but their teachings continue to attract mankind. Still they remain difficult and controversial as in their own times….

===============================================================

Dear Sultan Sahab,
There are different views on Ghazali, two are as under:

أبو حامد محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن أحمد الغزالي الشافعي الطوسي

1ST OPINION:

"QUOTE"

Al-Ghazzaali was Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Toosi, who was known as al-Ghazzaali. He was born in Toos in 450 AH. His father used to spin wool and sell it in his shop in Toos.

The life of al-Ghazzaali needs to be discussed at length because he went through a number of stages. He indulged in philosophy, then he recanted and rejected that. After that he indulged in what is known as ‘ilm al-kalaam (Islamic philosophy) and gained a sound grasp of its basic principles; then he rejected that after it became clear to him that it was corrupt and filled with contradictions. He was focusing on ‘ilm al-kalaam during the period when he refuted philosophy, and at that time he was given the title of Hujjat al-Islam, after he had refuted the arguments of the philosophers. Then he recanted ‘ilm al-kalaam and turned away from it. He followed the path of the Baatiniyyah (esotericists) and learned their knowledge, but then he rejected that and showed the beliefs of the Baatiniyyah to be false, and exposed the manner in which they tamper with the texts and rulings. Then he followed the path of Sufism. These are the four stages that al-Ghazzaali went through. Shaykh Abu ‘Umar ibn al-Salaah (may Allaah have mercy on him) spoke well of him when he said: “A lot has been said about Abu Haamid and a lot has been narrated from him. As for these books – meaning al-Ghazzaali’s books which contradict the truth – no attention should be paid to them. As for the man himself, we should keep quiet about him, and refer his case to Allaah.” See Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali wa’l-Tasawwuf by ‘Abd al-Rahmaan Dimashqiyyah.

No fair-minded person would deny the rare level of intelligence, ingenuity and cleverness that Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali attained. Al-Dhahabi said of him: “Al-Ghazzaali, the imaam and shaykh, the prominent scholar, Hujjat al-Islam, the wonder of his time, Zayn al-Deem Abu Haamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Toosi al-Shaafa’i al-Ghazzaali, the author of many books and one possessed of utter intelligence. He studied fiqh in his own town, then he moved to Nisapur in the company of a group of students. He stayed with the Imaam al-Haramayn and gained a deep knowledge of fiqh within a short period. He became well-versed in ‘ilm al-kalaam and debate, until he became the best of debaters…” (Siyar A’laam al-Nubala’, part 9, p. 323)

You will find that even though Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali had such a deep knowledge of fiqh, Sufism, ‘ilm al-kalaam, usool al-fiqh, etc., and even though he was such an ascetic and devoted worshipper, and had such a good intention and vast knowledge of Islamic sciences, he still had an inclination towards philosophy. But his philosophy emerged in the form of Sufism and was expressed through Islamic ideas. Hence the Muslim scholars, including his closest companion Abu Bakr ibn al-‘Arabi, refuted his ideas. Abu Bakr ibn al-‘Arabi said: Our shaykh Abu Haamid went deep into philosophy, then he wanted to come out of it but he was unable to. There were narrated from him opinions which sound like the Baatini way of speaking, and that may be verified by looking in al-Ghazzaali’s books. See Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, part 4, p. 66.

Even though al-Ghazzaali was very advanced in knowledge, he had little knowledge of hadeeth and its sciences, and he could not distinguish between sound ahaadeeth and weak ones. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “If we assume that someone narrated the view of the salaf but what he narrated is far removed from what the view of the salaf actually is, then he has little knowledge of the view of the salaf, such as Abu’l-Ma’aali, Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali, Ibn al-Khateeb and the like, who did not have enough knowledge of hadeeth to qualify them as ordinary scholars of hadeeth, let alone as prominent scholars in that field. For none of these people had any knowledge of al-Bukhaari and Muslim and their ahaadeeth, apart from what they heard, which is similar to the situation of the ordinary Muslim, who cannot distinguish between a hadeeth which is regarded as saheeh and mutawaatir according to the scholars of hadeeth, and a hadeeth which is fabricated and false. Their books bear witness to that, for they contain strange things and most of these scholars of ‘ilm al-kalaam and Sufis who have drifted away from the path of the salaf admit that, either at the time of death or before death. There are many such well-known stories. This Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali, despite his brilliance, his devotion to Allaah, his knowledge of kalaam and philosophy, his asceticism and spiritual practices and his Sufism, ended up in a state of confusion and resorted to the path of those who claim to find out things through dreams and spiritual methods. (Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, part 4, p. 71).

He also said: Hence, even though Abu Haamid refuted the philosophers and classed them as kaafirs, and expressed veneration of Prophethood [as opposed to philosophy], etc., and even though some of what he says is true and good, and indeed of great benefit, nevertheless some of his writings contain philosophical material and matters where he followed the corrupt principles of philosophy that contradict Prophethood and even contradict sound common sense. Hence a group of scholars from Khurasaan, Iraq and the Maghreb criticized him, such as his friend Abu Ishaaq al-Margheenaani, Abu’l-Wafa’ ibn ‘Aqeel, al-Qushayri, al-Tartooshi, Ibn Rushd, al-Maaziri and a group of earlier scholars. This was even mentioned by Shaykh Abu ‘Amr ibn al-Salaah in his book Tabaqaat Ashaab al-Shaafa’i, and was confirmed by Shaykh Abu Zakariya al-Nawawi, who said in his book: “Chapter explaining some important things for which Imaam al-Ghazzaali was denounced in his books which were unacceptable to the scholars of his madhhab and others, namely his odd statements such as what he said in Muqaddimat al-Mantiq at the beginning of al-Mustasfa: ‘This is the introduction to all knowledge, and whoever does not learn this, his knowledge cannot be trusted at all.’”

Shaykh Abu ‘Amr said: “I heard Shaykh al-‘Imaad ibn Yoonus narrating from Yoosuf al-Dimashqi, the teacher of al-Nizaamiyyah in Baghdad, who was one of the famous deans of the school, that he used to denounce these words and say, “Abu Bakr and ‘Umar and So-and-so and So-and-so…” meaning that these great leaders had a great deal of certainty and faith even though they had no knowledge of this Muqaddimah and of any of the ideas contained in it.” (al-‘Aqeedah al-Isfahaaniyyah, part 1, p. 169).

Al-Dhahabi narrated in his book Siyar A’laam al-Nubala’ that Muhammad ibn al-Waleed al-Tartooshi said in a letter which he sent to Ibn Muzaffar: As for what you mentioned about Abu Haamid, I have seen him and spoken to him, and I think that he is a man of great knowledge, he is intelligent and capable, and has been studying all of his life, spending most of his time in study, but then he drifted away from the path of the scholars and entered the crowd of worshippers. Then he became a Sufi and forsook knowledge and its people, then he got involved with “inspiration”, those who claim to have spiritual knowledge, and the insinuating whispers of the Shaytaan. Then he mixed that with the views of the philosophers and the symbolic phrases of al-Hallaaj, and he started to criticize the fuqaha’ and the scholars of ‘ilm al-kalaam. He almost went astray from the religion altogether. When he wrote al-Ihya’ [i.e., Ihya’ ‘Uloom al-Deen], he started to speak of the inspiration and symbolic words of the Sufis, although he was not qualified to do that and had no deep knowledge of such matters. Hence he failed, and filled his book with fabricated reports.

I (al-Dhahabi) say: as for al-Ihya’, it contains many false ahaadeeth, and it contains much that is good. I wish that it did not contain etiquette, rituals and asceticism that are in accordance with the ways of the philosophers and deviant Sufis. We ask Allaah for beneficial knowledge. Do you know what is beneficial knowledge? It is that which Allaah revealed in the Qur’aan, which was explained by the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in word and deed, and the type of knowledge which we are not forbidden to acquire. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever turns away from my Sunnah does not belong to me.” So, my brother, you must ponder the words of Allaah and persist in studying al-Saheehayn, Sunan al-Nasaa’i, Riyaadh al-Nawawi and al-Adhkaar by al-Nawawi, then you will succeed and prosper.

Beware of the opinions of the philosophers, the practice of spiritual exercises, the starvation of monks, and the nonsense talk of those who stay alone for long periods in their monasteries. All goodness is to be found in following the pure and tolerant way of the haneefs. And seek the help of Allaah. O Allaah, guide us to Your straight path.

Al-Maaziri praised Abu Haamid with regard to fiqh, and said that he had more knowledge of fiqh than of usool al-fiqh (the basic principles of fiqh). With regard to ‘ilm al-kalaam which is usool al-deen, he wrote books in this field, but he did not have deep knowledge of it. I realized that he was lacking in experience in this field, because he studied the branches of philosophy before he studied usool al-fiqh, so philosophy made him audacious in criticizing ideas and attacking facts, because philosophy goes along with one’s train of thought, without any shar’i guidelines.

A friend of his told me that he spent a lot of time studying Rasaa’il Ikhwaan al-Safa, which contains fifty-one essays. It was written by someone who has studied sharee’ah and philosophy, then had mixed the two. He was a man who was known as Ibn Seena, who filled the world with his books. He had a good knowledge of philosophy, which led him to try to refer all the basic principles of ‘aqeedah to philosophy. He strove hard and achieved what others had failed to do. I have seen some of his books and I noticed that Abu Haamid quotes him a great deal when he speaks of philosophy. With regard to Sufi views, I do not know where he got them from, but I have seen that some of his companions mention the books of Ibn Seena and their contents, and he also mentioned the books of Abu Hayyaan al-Tawheedi. As far as I am concerned, he picked up his Sufi ideas from him. I was told that Abu Hayyaan wrote a huge book about these Sufi ideas, and al-Ihya’ contains a lot of baseless ideas… then he said: In al-Ihya’ he mentioned ideas that have no basis, such as starting with the index finger when cutting the nails because it is superior to the other fingers, as it is the finger used in tasbeeh; then moving on to the middle finger because it is to the right of the index finger, and ending with the thumb of the right hand. He narrated a report concerning that.

I (al-Dhahabi) say: this is a fabricated report. Abu’l-Faraj al-Jawzi said: Abu Haamid wrote al-Ihya’ and filled it with fabricated ahaadeeth which he did not know were fabricated. He spoke of inspiration and deviated from the framework of fiqh. He said that what is meant by the stars, moon and sun that Ibraaheem saw was the barriers of light that keep a person from Allaah, not the things that are well known. This is like the words of the Baatiniyyah.

(Siyar A’laam al-Nubala’, part 19, p. 340).

Then at the end of his life, al-Ghazzaali (may Allaah have mercy on him) came back to the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah. He focused on the Qur’aan and Sunnah and condemned ‘ilm al-kalaam and its proponents. He advised the ummah to come back to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and to act in accordance with them, as was the way of the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them and those who follow them in truth until the Day of Judgement). Shaykh al-Islam (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: After that he came back to the path of the scholars of hadeeth, and wrote Iljaam al-‘Awwaam ‘an ‘Ilm al-Kalaam.

(Majmoo Fataawa, part 4, p. 72)

A glance at Iljaam al-‘Awwaam ‘an ‘Ilm al-Kalaam will prove to us that he had indeed changed in many ways:

1 – In this book he advocated the belief of the salaf, and pointed out that the way of the salaf was the truth, and that whoever went against them was an innovator or follower of bid’ah.

2 – He emphatically denounced ta’weel (interpretation of the attributes of Allaah in a manner that differs from their apparent meaning). He advocated affirming the attributes of Allaah and not misinterpreting them in a manner that would lead to denying the attributes of Allaah.

3 – He emphatically denounced the scholars of ‘ilm al-kalaam and described all their principles and standards as “reprehensible innovations” which had harmed a great number of people and created trouble for the Muslims. He said: “The harm caused to a great number of people is something that has been seen, witnessed and experienced. The evil that has resulted since ‘ilm al-kalaam began has become widespread even though people at the time of the Sahaabah forbade that. This is also indicated by the fact that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the Sahaabah, by consensus, did not follow the way of the scholars of ‘ilm al-kalaam when they produced arguments and evidence and analysis. That was not because they were incapable of doing so; if they had thought that was something good, they would have done it in the best manner, and they would have studied the matter hard, more than they did with regard to the division of the estate among the heirs (al-faraa’id).”

He also said: “The Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) needed to prove the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to the Jews and Christians, but they did not add anything to the evidence of the Qur’aan; they did not resort to arguments or lay down philosophical principles. That was because they knew that doing so would provoke trouble and cause confusion. Whoever is not convinced by the evidence of the Qur’aan will not be convinced by anything other than the sword, for there is no proof after the proof of Allaah.”

See Abu Haamid al-Ghazzaali wa’l-Tasawwuf.

These are a few of the comments that trustworthy scholars have made about al-Ghazzaali (may Allaah have mercy on him). Perhaps this is enough for those who wish to be guided. And Allaah is the Guide to the straight path.

"QUOTE"

Two in One: Ghazali

Imam Ghazali (11 th century CE) is supposed to be one of the top Mullas and Sufis of the Islamic world. The copy of his famous Ehyaul Uloom, being used here for reference purposes, was printed by Maktaba Rahmania Urdu Bazaar, Lahore, and translated by "Maulana" Mohammad Ehsan Nanotwi. It is ironic that the very title of the book translates as "The Renaissance of All Knowledge." As we proceed, it might occur to you that the proper title should have been, "The Demise of Common Sense."

Let us examine the heights of his flight.

Junaid Baghdadi used to say, “I need sex as much as I need food” (Ehyaul Uloom p.53).

Hazrat Umar Farooq used to break his fast (not by eating or drinking), but by having sexual intercourse. During Ramadhan he used to have intercourse with three concubines before Salat-il-Isha (Ehyaul Uloom 2:52).

The best prescription for good health is to marry young women (Ehyaul Uloom 2:37).

Men of knowledge sleep on their right side, kings sleep on their left, and Satan sleeps with his face down (reference same, p.39).

Going for a bath without breakfast and then delaying breakfast will kill a person. I will be surprised if he survives (Ghazali quoting Imam Shafaai, reference same, p.39).

There are no surprises in life for the mindless.

Sahabi Maaz bin Jabl was dying of Plague. He said, "Have me married, because I hate to meet Allah while I am single” (reference same, p.42).
Ah! The poor woman, marrying for instant widowhood!

The best among my friends is the one who overeats and places big morsels in his mouth (Imam Ja’afar Sadiq quoted by Ghazali, reference same 2:12).

The Prophet said that a piece of rug lying in a corner of the house is better than a woman who is infertile (reference same, p.48).

A hadith says a dark woman who bares children is better than a beautiful woman who bares no children (reference same, p.49).

Did you notice dark used as a synonym for ugly?
Find a woman who is beautiful, well mannered, has big black eyes and black hair, and a white complexion (reference same, p.73). This is probably Ghazali’s dream girl who he could never attract.

The Prophet said, "The best wives are those who are beautiful and their mehr (marital gift) is small" (reference same p.74).

In actuality, the Holy Prophet advised character as first and foremost in the selection of a spouse.

Do not marry a woman who is infertile (p.75).

Ghazali does not say how he would test a woman for infertility. Didn’t Ghazali reflect that his sister or daughter could also suffer from infertility? Dear Reader, our criminals of Islam can only conceive of the woman as a wife, a bearer of children, and an object of desire. They forget that a mother, a sister and a daughter are also women. If only one of Ghazali’s parents had been infertile…

In Ehyaul Uloom vol.2 p.52 Ghazali goes on to say, “When a man’s organ is in erection, two thirds of his mind and two thirds of his religion have departed from him.” This is the wisdom of our “Hujjatul Islam” (meaning The Testimony of Islam, a nickname for Ghazali)!

After finishing your meal lick the cup or plate and drink its washings. That becomes a marital gift for the hoors (p.13).

Are the heavenly beauties such a trivial bargain?

Imam Hasan used to divorce four women and marry four women at the same hour. That is why the Prophet has said, “Hasan is from me” (p.55).

According to the Holy Prophet the most undesirable among permissible acts is divorce.

The messenger of Allah said, “No work is dearer to Allah than remaining hungry and thirsty.” Salat, Saum, and service to humanity do not come close to ascetism (Imam Ghazali, Kimiya-e-Saadat p.483).

For centuries, Islamic preisthood has promoted rahbaniyat (ascetism) as great piety. The Holy Prophet admonished, “There is no ascetism in Islam” (several sources). The Qur’an (28:77) commands not to forget our portion in this world. You will note that non-Muslims are delighted with ascetics because their philosophy takes away the vitality of Islam.

Kimiya-e-Saadat (the “Alchemy of Grace”) is supposedly the masterpiece of "Hujjatul Islam" (Ghazali). Mullas and Sufis have promoted this work for centuries as a fountain of knowledge. The copy used here for reference purposes is from Madina Publishing Company, Karachi, Pakistan. The translator is "Maulana" Mohammad Saeed Ahmed Naqshbandi.

A woman who has a bad lineage (i.e. she descends from a sinful person anywhere in her family tree) is always of foul character. Therefore, it is one of the cardinal rules to abstain from marrying such a woman (Kimiya-e-Saadat p.261).

Ghazali here not only violates a basic commandment of the Qur’an: “No soul shall bear the burden of another,” but also hits woman and acquits man.

Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq used to carry pebbles in his mouth so that he would not speak (Kimya-e-Sa’adat p.505). Someone should have put pebbles in Ghazali’s pen!

A saint correctly said, “I am not scared of a lion, as I am scared of a boy under puberty because of lust” (Kimiya-e-Saadat p.497).

Prophet David fell because of his eye and committed sin with his neighbor’s wife (Kimiya-e-Saadat p.497). The Qur'an confirms that all prophets had a spotless character.

A wife should forever remain a bondwoman to her husband. Do not let her go to the door, to the top of the house, or outside (p.265).

Here is a direct assault on the character of the Holy Prophet:

When the mother of believers, Saudah, became older, the Prophet thought of divorcing her. She urged the messenger of Allah, “I will give my nights to the young Aisha. Please do not divorce me.” Upon hearing this, the Prophet began spending two nights with Aisha (Ghazali on the authority of Bukhari). Ghazali plus Bukhari equals disaster.

Dear Reader, please note that our Mulla insists on calling Ghazali, “The Testimony of Islam”! Even an ordinary man would hesitate to inflict such cruelty upon his wife as Ghazali and Bukhari attribute to the Holy Prophet. On p.53 of Ehyaul Uloom, vol.2, Ghazali further insults the Holy Messenger thus:

He came out of his house. On his way he saw a woman. The messenger turned back at once, went inside his house and had sex with Zainab. Then he came out and said, “Whenever a woman comes in front, she comes in the form of a Satan.”

How on earth did Ghazali or any one else come to know that the Prophet (SA) did such a thing? Were the Prophet and his followers so fond of publicizing their personal relations?

Our historians try to portray the Holy Prophet spending half of his time on the prayer rug and the other half in bed. This was a man who changed the course of history. God forbid, was He (SA) so obsessed with sex like these Mullas?!

There he goes again on p.56 of the same book:

Rasul complained to the angel Gabriel of his impotence. Gabriel advised “Harissa” (a herb).

Ghazali and Ibnil Qayyam explain elsewhere that the herb was an important prescription since there was an army of women who could marry no one else and their desire had to be fulfilled.

The Prophet said, “If a husband has all of his body, from head to toe, filled with pus and the wife licks him all over, even then she has not thanked him enough” (Ehyaul Uloom 2:103).

Could this be the teaching of the Qur'an and the Messenger, or is it the sickness of Ghazali?

Quoting Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, Ghazali writes that obtaining exquisite pleasure from sex is the fortress of religion (Ehyaul Uloom 2:73). Hanbal plus Ghazali equals disaster!

The Holy Prophet told Zaid bin Harith, “You are my brother and my maula (master).” Zaid started dancing in ecstasy (Kimya-e-Sa’adat p.419).

An apologetic defense has been written for Ghazali in this context:

“Maula” could also mean a slave. But in that case there was no reason for Zaid to rejoice because he had been a slave before. Malfoozat Makki states that Zaid rejoiced because he had given his wife Zainab to the Prophet! Ghazali advises that the health of a newborn baby will be better if the sexual encounter between the husband and the wife was vigorous (Ehyaul Uloom 2:76).

On p.81 of the same book Ghazali insults Hazrat Umar:

Umar said, “Ask women their choice in any matter and then act precisely in opposite terms. There is a blessing in doing the opposite of what women advise.” Hazrat Ali said, “Start your food with a breakfast of salt and Allah will remove seventy afflictions.

Eating sweets causes the testicles to dangle” (Ehyaul Uloom 2:36).

Strangely enough, it is hard to come across a Mulla who is not fond of sweets.
Always marry a woman who gives birth to plenty of children (Ehyaul Uloom p.75, Ghazali here seeks authority from Baihaqi and Bukhari).

Does this need any comment? Mullas ascribe such insults to the glorious name of the Exalted Prophet.

Dear Sultan Sahab,

Maulana Ashraf Quadri or even Deobandi and Wahabi Mullahs of Indian Sub Continent [exceptions are there] are basically stuck in the mindset of Dars-e-Nizami:

From the message of Dr Shabbir Ahmed dated October 5, 2007 4:49 AM and Friday, October 5, 2007 9:28 AM

What is the Mullah? (By Fazil Deeniyat, Ghulam Jeelani Barq):

Mullah is a specific mentality with some telltale signs:

He is extremely closed-minded, has little tolerance for a follower of another religion. He hardly tolerates beardless Muslims, and belittles those who study the western sciences, or those who wear the western clothes. He is a staunch enemy of the Mullah in the neighborhood Masjid and takes pleasure in denouncing people as Kaafirs.

He self-invites. To please his followers, brings easy recipes for achieving Paradise. He knows little about history and current events. The Mullah is extremely arrogant despite being thoroughly ignorant. He is totally disabled from engaging in rational discussion and takes delight in vain argumentation.

He is a worshiper of the dead Ulama and "Imams" and reviles anyone critical of the dead Mullahs. The Mullah has very twisted, derogatory beliefs about women. His knowledge is good for neither this world, nor for the Next. And so on. That is why and how I hate the Mullah.

DARS-E-NIZAMI (Devised by ‘Imam’ Ghazali) :

Nizamul Mulk Toosi (1018-1092 CE) was the Prime Minister of the Suljuk King Malik Shah, and after him of King Alp Arsalan. Toosi was a Zoroastrian in Muslim disguise (Nihaayat-e-Tareekh-Abbasi, Sheikh al-Hafiz Yousuf Naishapuri). Toosi opened up the Great Nizamia University in 1067 CE in Baghdad. It was the foremost university of the Islamic world with satellites in Khurasan, Neshapur, Damascus, Bukhara etc. Smaller branches existed in Herat, Balkh, Merv, Tashkent and Isphahan in today's Afghanistan, Iran and the former Soviet states. The center in Baghdad had as its principal no less than the top criminal of Islam, 'Imam' Abu Hamid Ghazali who primarily laid down the mindless Nizami syllabus in collaboration with Toosi. Ghazali grossly insulted the exalted Messenger and his noble companions. For example, he wrote that Hazrat Umar used to break his fast not by eating or drinking but by having sex with three concubines. Soon you will see many shining
stars like this.

Since 1067 CE when the Nizamia University was founded, nearly a millennium has gone by. Until this day, the syllabus, Dars-e-Nizami, prescribed by these two Criminals of Islam (Toosi and Ghazali) is very much in force throughout the world in the so-called Islamic Madrasahs. It includes nothing but stupidities, and therefore, carries no room for understanding the Last Word of God, Al-Quran.

Chanting to repel the invaders:

To get a glimpse of the conspiracy of Nizamul Mulk Toosi, just one example should suffice. As the Prime Minister of the Suljuk Empire, he advised the two successive kings not to build any defenses for the Empire. He claimed that his students in the Madrasahs would work on rosary beads and do Wazifas (chanting of verses) and repel the enemy. Even today, the nonsensical sixteen ‘Uloom (sciences) prescribed by Nizamia consume eight years of the life of the Muslim youth rendering them useless for this world and the next. Ironically, ask any Mullah who has gone through these Madrasahs for eight years as to who the founder of Darse Nizami was, and there is a very good chance he won't have an answer!

Dear Sultan Sahab,

What I have learned through different sources that these Deobandis and Barelvis are basically the same with minor differences they both allegedly follow the Fiqh [Attributed to Imam Abu Haneefah] Hanafi and his followers and books these Deobandi and Barelvi read, quotes of which are as under:

Radd al-Muhtar ala ad-Dur al-Mukhtar is a book on Islam by 19th century Hanafi Scholar Ibn Abidin. A commentary on Imam al-Haskafi's Durr al-Mukhtar, it is commonly known as Radd al-Muhtar. It is said to be a compilation of the great Fatwas of Imam Abu Hanifa [May Allah have mercy on his soul], and Hidayah is the name of a famous Hanafi juridical work by Burhan-ud-din Ali bin Abi Bakr al-Marghinani (1152-1197) which is considered widely authoritative as a guide to Fiqh amongst Muslims in Central Asia, Afghanistan and India, and is the basis for much of the Anglo-Islamic law in India and Pakistan.

Now read the excerpts from these two Books through which Deobandi and Barelvi Calamity in Pakistan want to Implement Islamic Law. Rampant Lal Mosque Anarchist, Binori Town, Madressah Haqqania, Talibans and other such Anarchist called these perversions mentioned below The Islamic Law!
